The Writing of William Southworth
An International Relations Portfolio
All good diplomacy is rooted in profound knowledge. A diplomat should know himself as well as he knows the back of his hand and his negotiating partners just as deeply. Here you will find an arrangment of my writings, everything from formal treatises on current international relations to blog posts of my travel and work experience abroad.
"Peace is not the absence of conflict but the presence of creative alternatives for responding to conflict -- alternatives to passive or aggressive responses, alternatives to violence."
